Dream a Little Dream Lake - Print 2024 Calendar This area was once home

This area was once home to the Lowry Air Force Base and over the past fifteen years it has been redeveloped into a new neighborhood

Just for a change I transformed it to a black and white image which I think tells a little different story in comparison with the original image in color

just before the game I noticed the sun starting to drop behind the stands on the 3rd base side of the stadium

As I got closer to the rocks the detail which could be found on each one was quite interesting and also caught my attention to photograph for a little while

Depending on the weather in the next couple of days this scene could be quite different come midweek

Dream a Little Dream Lake - Print 2024 Calendar This area was once homeI could have stayed in bed and continued dreaming, however I woke up early and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake area. After photographing around Bear Lake at sunrise I hike a little over a mile to Dream Lake. As usual there was a stiff wind, and once I got to Dream Lake it just started to howl. I didn't spend much time around the lake, as this was also a scouting mission for future trips towards Dream Lake later this winter.
