The fibre used in this yarn is a soft Australian alpaca and is spun in the Kaalunds family run fibre mill on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. The alpaca fibre is sourced from alpaca farms along the Eastern seaboard of Australia. The fibre is dyed in the fleece and then processed and spun to create interesting colour ways.
