Lungta is associated with positive energy, life force and with good luck'. The flag also features various prayers and mantra, the 8 Auspicious Symbols, the Kalachakra symbol, as well as the four dignities (Garuda, Dragon, Snow Lion, Tiger) which are ancient symbols that represent qualities of the Windhorse.
