I finished this commissioned drawing last night😀 I was tasked by a wonderful patron to draw some “Piping Plovers on a beach” and came up with this design

Inspiration drawn from a memorable visit to the tundra a few years back when the wildlflowers were extraordinary and the songs and calls of pipits

25 inch border and will be signed by the artist

Completed between December 3 and December 12

and an important species in eastern North American hardwood forests

Felt like a part two of the same butterflies drawn in LAKE ERIE in September 2021, though only five remain. Migration is perilous.
